What Makes Us Unique
My name is Dr. Teri Baldwin
With my 30 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Arizona, I have discovered the immense need for a program that teaches young adults with special needs the skills to become as independent as possible. The demands on today's parents are simply too great, and the time and effort necessary to battle meltdowns and resistance is far too much. In my experience, most kids respond better to teachers than parents, so I have designed a program that explicitly teaches our students the life skills that are not taught in traditional schools and are often too difficult to teach at home. Unlike other programs that wind up more like babysitting, I will be working with every single student to help them achieve their personal goals.
