Facilities
Our private school makes its home in a double suite with an open floor plan so we can easily have multiple pairs of eyes on students at all times as they transition to independence. We have modeled the layout after a home, complete with living room, kitchen, and dining areas. We also have designated areas for arts and crafts, practice with pre- and vocational skills, as well as a mock store front.
In our living room, students are welcomed to a place that feels like home. We have individual cubbies to keep the personal belongings students will need throughout the day. From a life-skills perspective, students can practice vacuuming, fluffing throw pillows, and dusting the coffee table. It is also a nice place to take a break.

Living Room

One of the most important parts of living an independent lifestyle is being able to take care of oneself in the kitchen. From prepping and cutting food, to following a recipe with basic cooking skills, to cleanup and dishes, our kitchen is where we see some of the most influential progress towards our students' goals.

Kitchen & Dining

We utilize our storefront to practice pre- and vocational skills by stocking shelves and interacting with customers, as well as to learn about money and budgets. We also enhance our skill set by creating many of the items in our store, including wire trees, bar soap, lotion, sugar scrubs, oils, and plants.
